About Me

Hi, I’m Kara.
I spent over a decade in leadership roles, navigating deadlines, boardrooms, school runs and Sunday team meetings. While I was doing everything “right”, eating well, working out, being a mom and a professional, I still felt… drained, foggy, and frustrated by a body that no longer responded the way it used to.

In my late 30s and early 40s, I found myself asking: “Why am I tired all the time? Why is the scale creeping up even though I’m being ‘good’? What’s happening to my mood and sleep?”

I discovered that everything was connected: my metabolism was shifting, my hormones were mis-aligned, and my lifestyle (even as healthy as it seemed) wasn’t built for this season. That’s when I realized: women like us need a different kind of wellness, one that honors career, family and fatigue; one that meets us where we are and leads us to real transformation.

That spark became The Wellness Shift. Because I believe you don’t have to start over, you just need the right plan, support and mindset to shift into your strongest self.

Why I launched The Wellness Shift

I launched The Wellness Shift because I saw too many credible women chasing semi-solutions: restrictive diets, expensive products, “one-size-fits‐all” programs that ignored the real juggle of life. And the results? Short-lived. Overwhelming. Unfulfilling.

My mission is to give you something different: a program, a community and a way of life that works for the woman who has a career to run, children to raise and a body that’s asking for something more than “just another cleanse.”

  • Yes. Everything we build is modular, efficient and built for your life, not someone else’s ideal.

  • Not at all. We focus on movement that supports your body, not drains it. One 20-minute session done consistently beats random longer workouts.

  • Many women begin to feel subtle shifts in energy and clarity within the first 4-6 weeks, and full transformation in the full cohort timeframe. (Results vary, of course.)
